Poll: Reagan 58, Obama 42

pga301 Wrote: Apr 12, 2013 10:29 AM
It means a lot that Reagan could crush Obama. It means that people were willing to look past party label and vote for the prosperity that Reagan represents and against the failure of Obama in 2012. It represents that Obama has a cult following that if any Republican could have convinced the public of their plan for prosperity they could have defeated him. It means that the the Dead Reagan who didn't have the Obama MSM and millionaires and billionaires donating to his propaganda machine he could not have won on his record if anybody on the right could have emphasized that along WITH his cowardice at Benghazi.

4 Reasons Jason Lewis Can Beat Al Franken

Both Franken and Dayton won a THREE way race. They both got about 42% of the actual vote and that is about how many hard core Democrats there are in the state. The other 58% are up for grabs and this is not that different a State than the one that had a Republican Governor elected in 2006. If the lame Independence Party finally DIES the Republicans will pick up a LOT of support and Lewis actually is a good fit for those people who went third party before when Franken ran.

CPAC Unwise to Snub Christie, Gays

pga301 Wrote: Mar 01, 2013 6:53 PM
So Jonah you want to create either a conflict which isn't good for the GOP or some kind of leg-humping where Christie gets to spit in our eye and we have to love him for it? The simple solution to feuding parties (pardon the pun) is to keep them separate. If Christie wants to have a rally or run for President people can VOLUNTARILY show up but CPAC isn't there so people can crash it who have been giving the finger to conservatives to pump their approval rating. Face it Jonah we ALL in the grassroots know why you want Christie to be forgiven don't we. Much like Romney you think the NE Republican is the key to getting the WH back and you really don't care what the man does to the grassroots if that happens.

Better Republican Communication Needed

When did Townhall become liberal troll central? God was idiotic comments they have that aren't even on topic. Does name calling ever get tiring for you clowns? Do you really think you are making coverts with that? What proof what loser liberals are.

Better Republican Communication Needed

I am tired of hearing we need a new communications strategy. We live in a country where people are free to ignore you. They DO catch things from the MS mostly containing Obama. That is what THEY permit themselves to be informed with. I get sick of pundit who prattle about communications with people who DO NOT listen to Republican communication. What these people understand is if their lives are interrupted and they HAVE to try and figure out whose right. If you aren't willing to shutdown the government then you really aren't going to get the attention of these people.

In Defense of Chris Christie

pga301 Wrote: Feb 27, 2013 11:25 PM
You are not doing yourself any favors guy by defending Christie as if the REST OF US desperately need him. I really don't get that if Christie screws the rest of us we have to embrace him whatever the reason is you give about party harmony. I guess we can't have any standards since we didn't win in November with a candidate a lot of us weren't excited about. We are supposed to line up and out of blind loyalty sell our souls for whatever a blue state Northeast Republican has to do in screwing us to prove himself to liberals in his home state. Sorry Guy that is not America. It is a hostage situation where we all are hostage to the fact Christie can get elected in a blue state? F*** THAT!!

Attack of the Uppity Conservative Hispanics

I would point out they still fear their status as Latino. The Democrat party has a huge investment in the "old White Men" smear of the Republican party. Much like Palin, when a figure appears where they can't shut out the ears of the members of the Democrat Planatation with the simple "He's just a white man you have nothing in common with", they panic. Like Palin these guys have a deadly combo for Liberals 1) They aren't White Men 2) They are apologetically stating conservatism. I somewhat disagree with the author that it isn't BOTH!
It's funny that you hear not a peep about cracking the black vote in all the articles about Latinos being wooed by Republicans. If you concede that blacks vote for a certain reason democrat why can't it also be true for latinos to a lesser degree.
All this analysis doesn't look at issues. It doesn't look at Obama machine which has been formulated since 2008 to win swing states. The democrats start over building a new messiah and after 8 years of Obama I think he will have Bush's popularity or I think worse. At the midway mark of 2004 Bush was still in an afterglow of handling 9/11. Obama rode the first black presidency to get a pass on failure. Why would the public eelct another Democrat in his wake? To prove what? To help Obama's legacy how? It will be close but losing 3% of the vote is very possible after 8 years of failure. Some new democrat (Hilliary) isn't going to have an easy time of "Do you want more of this?"

Yuo barely won in an election that Obama was at the to of the ticket. I would say your trend isn't a trend at all. With all the factors in your favor you barely won. West will win it back in 2014.

I say just run again when the Obama vote machine is out of the way Col. West and you will win the seat back in 2014.
