The Single Reason Romney Lost

To me (a Democrat & college prof), Knight's suggestions are by and large unhelpful to Republicans. Push Benghazi? Pull-eze. And the young women: when the Republicans nominate nut jobs who talk about the body shutting down during rape (!), of course many women worry. (Knight may fear sexual anarchy. But people rightly fear anti-scientific Republican oppression, re rape. re birth control.) And of course 93% of blacks, and high percentages of other minorities, vote Demo; not for race only, but because of anti-minority Repub stances on voter ID, on aid to poor, etc. From my analytic perspective, Knight has recipes for continued Repub losses.

you, a college prof, therefore a democrat, are of course in favor of the destruction of our country by piling up mountains of debt for all the things that make us weaker. there is nothing romney could have done to get the vote of a thing like you admit you are, because obama is the ideal for a voter who favors strangling our nation with debt, election fraud (why else do democrats all favor id-less voting?), the replacement of our population with foreigners, even better if the foreign invaders subscribe to a religion that tells them to kill us, and the corruption of our population with incentives to immorality and laziness. your vote was bought and paid for by our enemies.

Dear Cur,
How could you possibly "know" any of the foolish assertions you make? Maybe Peter906 favors the destruction of our country by North Korean nuclear missiles.

Dollysboy-I suspect "cur" (that would be curmudgeon?) knows something you apparently do NOT! Far too many well-meaning Folk here in America do not (apparently) know how to balance a Check-book; eg. If you take out more than you input the result is, as a minimum, ZERO BALANCE. Three or Four generations on welfare is NOT "aid to the poor" It IS NATIONAL SUICIDE! Think on THAT PLEASE!

“It’s the economy, stupid.”

Maybe not. Mired in the worst recovery since the Great Depression, with unemployment near 8 percent, companies laying off workers over Obamacare, a $16 trillion debt and gasoline at double the 2008 price, America still re-elected Barack Obama.

Mitt Romney ran a single-issue campaign: the economy, stupid.

The missed opportunities were endless. After CNN’s Candy Crowley silenced him in the second debate on the Benghazi attack, Mr. Romney declined to expose Mr. Obama’s shocking lies and transparent cover-up. He also declined to educate Americans about the administration’s brazen lawlessness, especially that of the Justice Department,...
