It is amazing to me how many posters apparently want to see America fail and are tacitly supporting the terrorists. They are outraged about the would be bomber being read his rights and almost gleeful that a bomb was placed in Times Square because that gives them something to blame Obama for.

In case after case, terrorism suspects—Najibullah Zazi, Omar Farouk Abdulmutallab, and according to news reports, Faisal Shahzad—were read their Miranda rights and then provided critical intelligence to investigators. Reading suspects their rights doesn’t make them clam up—they can do that all by themselves. But it does guarantee that what they say can be legally used in a court of law to convict them.
