obama's main problem is that he seems to feel that he is always right. His background as a community organizer and lawyer shows that he can't see the other side, only his side. That is probably the Republicans problem. They can see the other side and can see it's merit. obama can't see the other side . He may give lip service to them, but not really understand the issues. That is why he fails as a leader. Maybe that is why we should not have a lawyer as president. Usually they can only see their side as seeing both sides would make it harder for him/her to negioate a settlement. They would be too willing to give in. We need an engineer or business person that is trained to look at various views and make a logical choice.

Sometimes I think that, had we elected Perot way back when, we might not be where we are today. He wasn't perfect, but he could sure as hell balance a budget!

Like Don Quixote tilting at windmills, President Obama is on a mission. With the Environmental Protection Agency as his sidekick, he is launching  an all-out offensive to drastically cut carbon dioxide emissions.
