I don't see how you can can the onslaught into Arizona by drug and immigrant smugglers anythng less than invasion. To me Obama's lawsuit is grounds for impeachment under this clause. Pete
Apparently, it is now considered by some (read: GE) much easier to lobby their Congressperson to pass a law that creates an bureauratic advantage over their competition than it is to try and create a better product which would give them a natural marketplace advantage.

It probably is a lot easier figuring out who to payoff than it is developing a successful product. Unfortunately, these days there are a lot of pols with their hand out (check out the Finance industry "campaign contributions" to members of the committee regulating them).
The Justice Department Anti-Trust Division seems to be the only part of Government NOT intruding into people's lives. Big corporations suffer from the same problems as big governments...the decision makers are so far removed from the "action" that they cannot effectively lead because they do not truly know what is going on.

Understanding that to work properly true capitalism requires competition and for that you need competitors, the more the better. I am shocked that we allow companies to get "too big to fail". But the government likes it because a small number of large businesses are easier to control in a centralized way.

I have called this unholy marraige of big business and big government "corporatism", and...
