The only thing missing was a picture of Obama holding a newspaper saying "Romney wins". Otherwise, Romney's campaign was a clone to that of Thomas Dewey. In fact, Dewey has been the model for every Republican campaign since then, with the exception of Reagan, i.e. none aggresive, generic and bland. Ike was lucky because everyone liked Ike. Nixon was lucky because everyone hated Johnson. GH Bush was lucky the first time because everyone loved Reagan, while his son was lucky because everyone was tired of Clinton. GH Bush the 2nd time, Dole, and McCain had no luck. However only Romney was able to duplicate to perfection the disaster that was Dewey. But we will see this kind of campaign again as it is the only kind that RINOs know.

Small minds always leap to the answers given the last time around, which is probably why Maxine Waters keeps getting re-elected. But the last time is not necessarily the same as this time. A terrorist attack is not the same as the Cold War, a war in Afghanistan is not the same as a war in Iraq, and Mitt Romney is not the same as John McCain or Bob Dole.
