In response to:

Conservatives Should Tone Down Criticism of Roberts

What a dumb article. I just read Sowell and what Roberts did was NOT Constitutional. He took an oath to that old scroll which has served us well, but he put all of us in danger from Congress to tax us for anything they wish now. Also, we can't depend on elections to rid people who want to tax us for anything and everything. Did you ever think that Obama may not be voted out of office? Who says Romney will win. We don't know that and with all the fraud it's likely Obama will get a 2nd term and then he can pull more of this unconstitutional tyranny onto us.

Agreed, Peppermint! Worse than taxing us for what we do or what we buy, they can now tax us for what we choose NOT to do or purchase! Talk about a Progressive godsend! Roberts was intimidated into becoming, at best, a pawn in the Progressive's takeover and at worst, a co-conspirator in tearing the final threads of our already battered Constitution.

Conservatives are apoplectic that John Roberts, Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, sided with the liberal wing of the court in largely upholding the constitutionality of The Affordable Care Act (ACA). Their rhetoric has been filled with invective and they have described Roberts as “a traitor to his philosophy” who is “forever stained in the eyes of Conservatives.” His opinion has been called “the worst kind of judicial activism” and characterized as “a 21st century Dred Scott decision.”

You get the picture. In joining the majority in upholding Obamacare, Roberts has become the Benedict Arnold of the Bench.
