Tort reform could save many billions a year, but Lawyers padding the pockets of politicians wont allow that. Liability insurance paid by Doctors is a sizable chunk of healthcare costs. One minute a drug company advertises a pill to fix your liver, and the next minute a damn lawyer advertises him/herself to get the money "you're'' due because that pill caused your toe nails to fall off.
