In response to:

President Obama Sings a little Al Green

It doesn't hurt that Obama is not only brainy, wise and the best man for the role of President in these times, but that he also has a great singing voice. That's what happens when you bring the right stuff to the table. I'm sure it must crush those in the Rightwing Party to know that they have never been able to find a candidate remotely close to the man now in office. Not even the sainted Ronny.
Once again, Katie sells like a good little paid GOP bullhorn. The fact remains that the President told Congressional Republicans that this study needed more review and vetting. Your team CHOSE to fight a losing battle in or to score points with their crazy, uninformed base - essentially leaving you guys without a good resolution ON PURPOSE. Why is it the GOP is so willing to screw the country over in order to score destructive, hateful points against President Obama?
I've never seen a non-starter stay on the right's radar so long. What gives? The fact that your own gun rights craziness opened the door to this problem seems to have gone mostly unnoticed by the GOP.... who now seek only to hang something, anything on President Obama. Of course, in the scheme of things, you don't see Issa or any other GOP howling - or have howled - in the wake of the Iran/Contra debacle. Partisan rants, selective outrage and persecution make for a political party that is hard to take seriously. Just sayin'.

Grandiose, Indeed

Let's not forget that the "Clinton-era" you speak of in derisive terms also included Newt Gingrich and could easily be called "Gingrich-era" argument of personal moral character being irrelevant. The reason I bring this up is because of the breathtaking hypocrisy of the most vocal proponents of holding a sitting President to task for his personal indiscretions. The dripping sanctimony THEN from the "family values" crowd seems to be suddenly muted in the wake of both Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich. Heck, we might as well throw in McCain - he most assuredly displayed a lack of 'personal moral character' when conducting affairs with his latest wife behind his family's back.
Funny how you guys all spend your hours talking the same nonsense amongst yourselves. It's no wonder things under Bush and Republicans are so atrocious.
You both provide us with a face palm moment. How sad for your offspring. Good thing you don't believe in evolution, because it won't help you and yours one bit.
Ink? How old are you, 150?
Um....so, you think that passing all those taxes to consumers is okay? Unbelievable. The lamest argument EVER.
