Your exactly right. This is all about power. They want us to work and hand over all our money and they will decide what we need to live on ( it won't be much). They want to control our food (thus the recent law passed that makes it illegal to grow unapproved food even in your back yard), they want to control our water (you can't drill a well because the water belongs to the government and not you, somewhere in Pennsylvania the EPA has declared their water a "pollutant" their solution to the problem confiscate private property adjacent to the road and plant grass where the rain water can drain instead of the creek, you must take flu shots, immunization shots regardless of what is in the shots that might harm you, etc., etc.,

Don't fool yourself the death counseling of seniors has already started. The hospital appointed doctor took it upon himself to discontinue my 91 year old mother-in-law's IV. This was done after the family specifically said they wanted the IV to continue so she wouldn't dehydrate (which is a horrible way to die). The families wishes were ignored and my mother-in-law died. This is not an isolated case. The general feeling is "their going to die anyway why not speed it along with a little help (or neglect)" I'm sorry I believe when a person comes to the end of their life they need to not be FORCED to die from starvation and dehydration. They deserve respect and consideration.

The rich will leave this country. Look at the # of business owners who have fled California because of tax hikes. If you want to know what will happen to our economy look at bankrupt California. Then take a look at Mexico with her 2 economic classes, the filthy rich elitist and poverty stricken lower class, the US will ultimately be the same if we don't wake up now. There will not be a middle class. Even now the middle class in the US is disappearing at alarming rates. Then enters true lawlessness and corruption. I challenge you to truly study the history of any socialistic, communist, or marxist country. Their formula just doesn't work.

I have to say here though, when you talk about Social Security as a government hand out, I'm sorry but I get very upset. When I started working in the 1960s I wasn't given the option to take MY money and put it into a private retirement plan. I was FORCED to pay MY hard earned money into a GOVERNMENT controlled "retirement" program (they called it Social Security and Medicare). Since my government mismanaged MY money (by having a court steal it from the citizens) what gives them the right to now say (now that it's time for me to collect on that retirement program) that I am mooching off the government. I call FOUL FOUL FOUL! I would certainly be better off if I had put THAT SAME money into a PRIVATE retirement fund.

It may be true that some of the people in that 47% believe in "individual responsibility" , but it's dangerous to have government subsidized citizens but each generation seem to "believe" it is their right to be given just a little bit more (when they are encouraged to believe this by government, teachers, etc.) Any government assistance (for able bodied individuals) should be accompanied by mandatory work requirements. It gives the individual a sense (and rightly so) of individual responsibility and gives them back their dignity.

Americans will have to wake up to the fact that our world is changing. It will never be the same, but WE can make it better by redesigning our wealth building formulas and not expecting our businessmen (+ women) or our government to solve our problems for us. It's not their jobs it's ours. I believe more and more of the American people ARE finding the solutions and not doing like this poor man who sat back + let his life be controlled by outside circumstances. We don't have to be victims.

How foolish the Obama campaign people are. How many people have lost their jobs because SO MANY small business owners have had to close their doors since Obama's policies have been implemented? How many small business owners are having to drop insurance coverage for their employees because of Obamacare? How many "plants" have closed because of Obama economics? I talk to people everywhere who apply for jobs where hundreds of people are applying for the same job. People who are now working part-time making 1/4 to 1/2 the salary they used to make because they can't find anything else. People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.
