Bush 41 Endorses KBH in Texas Guber Race

This is much to do about nothing. Do Texas voters care? No.

I worked as a political appointee for Pres. George H. W. Bush and have great admiration for him and Barbara. I also worked for President Reagan.

I am supporting Gov. Rick Perry. I like Sen. KBH, but am supporting Gov. Perry because he has delivered. Texas is the #1 state for business relocation, Texas has created more jobs than all other states combined, and Texas has done better weathering Obamanomics than any other state. That doesn't happen without strong leadership.

Perry has performed - and I want to weather the rest of this Obama Administration with a proven leader as governor of Texas.

Global whiners are leaving a sizeable carbon footprint in Copenhage, but we can view it with little "harm" to the environment. Hope your readers will join Americans for Prosperity's live simulcast Noon - 2pm Eastern time. Log on at http://www.AmericansForProsperity.org.

AFP has an online video with some of the 1,200 some-odd limos at the Copenhagen global whining conference…beep, beep. http://www.americansforprosperity.org/national-site

Add to that carbon footprint the 140 private jets landing there in Copenhagen and the 20,000 delegates jetting to Copenhagen from every corner of the earth, leaving a Sasquatch (or Texas Captain Watchdog Jason Moore)-sized carbon footprint.

In Copenhagen, our own President Obama...

Global Warming Update

As usual, my hero - Walther Williams - has done a trmendous job pointing out not only thhe holes in the science but the fact that the liberals who want to promote the global warming hoax have skin in the game. Too many people - and now too many companies - have "invested" in global warming and won't be any too hot on backing off, even when the junk science is exposed. The public is catching on, but it is our job to not rely on the lame street media but to talk about it, and to share this oped with others. I'm speaking tomorrow in north Texas and will use some of this information. We must stop Cap and Trade and the EPA's use of the Clean Air Act to implement it.

Thanks for calling attention to this fight - we have been working on this issue for over 10 years, as liberals want to marginalize our founding and American Exceptionalism. We arewinning, but it's clear we must remail vigilent as the Left is eager to teach our children that America is nothing special and our Founding Fathers were flawed human beings. We salute the SBOE and all the citizens who have been working to make sure future generations learn why we are such an exceptional counttry and why we value freedom! - Peggy Venable, Texas Director, Americans for Prosperity - http://www.afptx.org
