Although I pray Krauthammer is spot-on with this, I fear he's being too optimistic. Sure, some MSM "reporters" are upset, some will act livid for a few days, but in the end they all desperately WANT what O's handlers are promoting under the guise of "progressiveness".
Interesting reading, but I struggled to get past the headline. DePasquale really needs to learn the difference between possessive and plural - especially as "a writer". Or do I just not understand the headline? (I'm looking for what "Dozen's" possesses and don't see it. Reading the column I *do* see 12 questions with answers, which leads me to believe she meant "DePasquale Dozens with ..." Am I being nit-picky? Yes. But as A WRITER one should be particularly careful about these things.
I don't think it matters one bit who Republicans would support for President in 2016. What matters is who the average American citizen would vote into office. Jeb Bush may be the greatest leader on earth but the media machine has so effectively turned people against GW (and the Bush name as a result) that I fear the name "Bush" would send voters running en masse to whatever Democrat is running in 2016. We (the USA) deserve much better than that. Then again .... maybe "we" got what we deserve in 2012. Blech.
Hmmm ... WHAT IF every -- EVERY -- citizen of the U.S. decided to boycott the IRS and not pay Federal Income Tax. Would the federal government then arrest every U.S. citizen? I'm sure they'd start by confiscating property, but then what do they do with that? Of course I admit I'd never have the cojones to not pay the IRS, but ... WHAT IF? Just food for thought, as are the questions in this column. (And by the way, if you read each question one at a time, the answer to all seems to be "they're already doing it." Disheartening, to say the least ...
