Good point! We must find a way to hold them accountable. I'm so disappointed in the states' governments. All they have done is go to court and you can't do that with everything. We need 25 to 30 state governments to stand together and and tell the federal government "no!" and not allow the unconstituiional things to be done in the states. This administration gets mad and gets even. So they won't cease and desist nicely. They will inflict pain and we must be prepared for that, but there is no other way to remain free.
We need some constitutional amendments to clean up this government and it's extreme corruption, however, do not ever vote for, or push for a constitutional convention because the conservatives have such a hard time defending their views and opposing the radicals. In a convention the radicals will trick the conservatives and we will lose everything. Better to take one amendment at a time and push it thru the hard way without a convention . That way if we lose, we don't lose the whole constitution, only the amendment.

Because we will begin paying immediately for the healthcare, if passed, and we will have no benefit from it until 2013 or 2014, why has no one commented on the fact that it will take 8 or 9 years of taxes to pay for 5 years of healthcare? What will happen the following 8 or 9 years? Will we only get 5 years of healthcare during those years also? If so, which 5 of the following 8 or 9 years will we have healthcare and what do we go for the other 3 or 4 years. Maybe we just call a medicine man or witch doctor for those years.

When did we ever pay for anything for years before we get it? That's unAmerican! We always pay for years after we buy something.

I was a counselor for many years and I never hear anyone discuss the most important concern about this issue. Many children, boys as well as girls are sexually abused each year. This causes a lot of pain for them that goes on for many years after they are grown and away from the abuser. Some women and, I believe, many men bury the memory to help stop the pain. In the military, often people are sleeping within a few feet of each other. Imagine if the abuse was homosexual in nature, that they must sleep that close to someone who openly declares they are homosexual and talks about it. It would horribly upsetting. I think recruitment into the service would be very badly affected by that and it's not fair.
Although I don't care...
