LOL the issue is punishing the successful, reducing job creation and forcing more people onto the government dole. This in turn creates more people inclined to vote generationally for Democrats. Once we all understand that is the end-all reason for anything Democrats do, you understand their motives. For example, Dems reneging on Reagan and Bush I's modest tax increases in exchange for spending cuts that never came. Dems didn't care about the budget; they only cared about using the tax increases as a weapon for the next round of campaigning. Democrats and unions are intertwined for this reason: they only care about their employment and benefits, screw everyone else.
