No one has made the comment that France is a hell hole only that France is beginning to understand that after reality sets in, the people wake up to the hard core facts that you can only take so much away from the people, mostly the successful ones, and give to everyone else just just so long. Eventually the funding runs out and when the recipients of the government largesse' are faced with reductions, they rebel. Don't worry, it will happen sooner or later and the quality of life you refer to which is financed by the government will be drastically reduced. You may have great art,food and wine but there is a cost associated with maintaining the level expected by the general population. Quality of life? Depends on perspective mon ami.
