The union says it was willing to work under the existing contract? Yeah they say that now, but in reality Con Ed offerd the union a 2 week extension of the current contract while negotiations continued with assurance the union would not strick without notice. Con Ed offered and signed the agreemant the union refused. If they were so willing to keep working why not sign the 2 week extention? Funny how being forced into a lock out by the union fat cats who refused a good faith agreement now has the members screaming we want to work. Screw you, go talk to the reps you voted to speak for you.
