Okay, conservatives and libertarians, let's ask the key question once more: Why haven't you taken your kids out of public school yet? Why do you continue to feed the beast? Don't tell us you can "fix" an unfixable system. You can't. Oh, you might have a momentary victory here and there. But all that is lost in the deluge. Home schooling is still legal in all 50 states. In some states, your kids might have to take state-administered tests. Don't worry about it; they'll score in the top tenth percentile. Or, there are private and parochial schools. But if you're STILL subjecting your kids to the type of mind-smashing depicted in this article, the only question to ask is: WHY?

My kids are in a charter school run by conservatives. They're not teaching Jesus Saves, but neither are they giving Islam any support. They are focused on the basics, and within the next year or two (I've got a couple of lots to sell in southeastern Minnesota that have a trout stream running through them), when I have some money in hand, I'll be transferring my kids to Maranatha Christian Academy. I was going to homeschool them, but I was struck low by viral encephalitis (which put me in a coma and nearly killed me ... I'm still suffering from that and have not been able to work, though I am not collecting a dime from the government).

My thoughts exactly. The entire public school system needs to be demolished. I also wonder why so many parents seem content to hand over their precious children to the marxist-communist-atheist brainwashing in public schools. As a teacher for over 25 years, I have seen the damage public schools have done to children. The entire system is corrupt from head to toe. I think it should be a crime to put your children in a public school.

Wisconsin Education Officials Want Students to Wear ‘White Privilege’ Wristbands

The Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction runs several programs that heavily emphasize racial issues in public schools, has been finding.

Some feel that one of those programs – an Americorps operation called VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) – may go a bit overboard by encouraging white students to wear a white wristband "as a reminder about your (white) privilege.”

Geared towards high school students, the program “seeks to build capacity in schools and districts serving low-income families to develop an effective, sustainable, research-based program of family-school-community...
