The old Soviet KGB predicted that America would eventually break up into self-governing, autonomous regions. This is one case where I hope the Soviet Union was right. It would be great to have the whole destructive Union dissolve, and have 50 independent states replace it. All US territories should be granted independence, whether they want it or not. Works for me.

I could see a middle-American corridor union, with some exceptions, from Texas to Montana.

So begins the Declaration of Independence of the 13 colonies from the king and country to which they had given allegiance since the settlers first came to Jamestown and Plymouth Rock.

The declaration was signed by 56 angry old white guys who had had enough of what the Cousins were doing to them. In seceding from the mother country, these patriots put their lives, fortunes and honor on the line.
