As a Ron Paul supporter, I only wish it were true. My feeling is he may not get enough delegates to "hang the jury" (as it were), but may get enough to force some issues on the party platform and possibly the VP pick. The reason Ron Paul supporters are called names is that they actually show ENTHUSIASM for their candidate, and know the INTELLECTUAL CASE for his ideas. This throws the Republican Establishment into a tizzy. They've never quite seen anything like it.

Names like Florida Senator Marco Rubio, New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, and Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal are generating headlines, but you can scratch each of those names off your list. There is no way Romney is going to select someone with more charisma than he has, which would just highlight his lack of presence or pizzazz.

Neither will Romney select a relative unknown like New Mexico Governor Susanna Martinez, because in Republican establishment world Sarah Palin is the reason John McCain lost four years ago—not the reason...
