When writing about IQ, it's best not to expose how low your own is. An "order of magnitude" has nothing to do with standard deviation. Economists, like Williams, often look at how things change to discern relationships among them, sometimes finding causality. For IQs to be relevant to this discussion, they would have had to have changed significantly. Are you suggesting that blacks' IQs have fallen precipitously in the last century?
