My Endorsement for President

Five stars and many thanks. Gingrich has a clever and quite acceptable energy plan. There would be no revenues toward wothless wind turbindes and solar, except from that generated by NEW oil and gas royalties. It is necessary to resist any attempts to get a carbon tax, or make any worldwide carbon emissions reductions agreements. Within one or two years, the scientific fraud behind these economy killing policies will collapse on its own weight. Look at poor old England, having spent 200bn pounds on worthless wind, and slated to be covered with 20,000 more 400' bird shredders. We have got to pull them all (Oz, UK, Eur, NZ) back from the brink. That 80% renewables commitment by 2050 could be deadly. No price on carbon, ever.
Why isn't Pawlenty on the ballot? He paid the $25,000 filing fee, and withdrew, just like Perry and Cain. http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/gop-presidential-primary/205577-pawlenty-wont-get-his-south-carolina-ballot-registration-fee-back
Romney is campaigning on the success of Romneycare which is running billions over projected costs. His platform as a candidate is that it was a good plan for his state. Bain Capital, by the way, is located in Boston, MA, and one of its specialties is healthcare. Romney now saying on the campaign trail that what he did at Bain was just like Obama's Bailouts of GM - "to save the business." http://www.latimes.com/news/politics/topoftheticket/la-na-tt-rush-freaks-20120112%2c0%2c16119.story
scott1527 "I have numerous friends in London and Germany. They tell me that we are the laughing stock of the world - that there is not one republican nominee that they have any respect for. none of them worthy of running a company - much less a country." The problem with this story is that your "friends" in Germany and London are not running their own country at all! The EU is literally giving them edicts which they follow to the letter. In fact, why don't you tell these "friends" - is it? - if they are so keen on how to run a country, than they can tell the EU not to levy a financial transactions tax on them right now. The fact is, there is NOTHING England can do about it. Let us know what your "friends" say about that.
Did someone say something about America Needing a Bainful Turnaround? "This week, in an interview on CBS, Romney defended himself against critics of his work at Bain Capital by equating what he did as a corporate restructuring specialist with Obama’s temporary takeover of General Motors and Chrysler in 2009. “In the general election,” Romney said, “I’ll be pointing out that the president took the reins at General Motors and Chrysler – closed factories, closed dealerships, laid off thousands and thousands of workers – he did it to try to save the business.”" Not only is holding office a magic wand to create markets (insurance, car tech, wind turbines) - it is great for bailing out and fixing business, as well!

Romney is running on the success of Romneycare, which is running billions past projected costs. You are now paying for that. He said it was a good plan for his state. This is part of his campaign platform. The one who is promising to cut whole departments is actually Gov. Rick Perry.

Sh. Paul Driessen speaks.
Now you are inventing wild stories out of whole cloth. The only candidate who has ever said anything about getting rid of federal departments such as the DOE is Rick Perry. Romney supports carbon legislation. Read, gov't cars and wind turbines, plus a carbon tax. How do you reduce gov't while you are with the other hand forcing the switch to worthless low carbon technology?

What about the "hand of government " investing 20 bn US dollars in energy and "car technology"? This is Romney's present politcial position. And, it is cosistent with his past political positions. Isn't mandating worthless wind turbines and green cars considered "government interference"?

She is discussing Bain Capital and its business practices, and so am I. But she is engaging in mass omission on the subject, which is to Romney's advantage. And there appears to be a symbiotic relationship between Romney and Paul.
