I take issue with the description "botched operation." It was not botched. It worked as planned. Guns were sold illegally to straw purchasers. There was no mechanism to trace/track these firearms. The sales were part of the narrative being offered at the time about American firearms arming the Mexican Drug Cartels. At the time this operation was working, as planned, Obama, Emmanuel, Holder, et al were advertising the narrative of American firearms and Mexican crime. The president of Mexico, a tool if there ever was one, reprimanded congress about the issue. He did not know that Obama & Co. were shipping guns to his country to kill his citizens. At least, I hope he was clueless. Page 1
