Three Billion and Counting

I ingested small amounts of pure DDT and had it on my hands years ago, during college, with no ill effects -- though I am much more careful about all chemical use today and think everyone should be. I would be happy to drink a DDT cocktail today, if the life-saving chemical were available in the US -- just as Dr. Gordon Edwards routinely ate DDT to underscore how safe it is. (He died at age 84, after many years of doing this, from a heart attack, while hiking in the mountains of California.)
