Daddy O, has a nice ring to it.
Daddy O's gonna get some feedback on 4/15 with the tea party protests. They're gonna regret passing this just before tax day.

Watch the Dems laugh at Boehner. They are laughing at the American people. They are laugh at you and me, because they (believe) can do whatever they want. Words cannot express my frustration, anger and sadness. I want to punch my hand through a wall, I feel so powerless and ignored and disrespected by Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama and the Democratic party.

It would be nice to recall -- or convict of treason -- everyone who voted for this monstrosity. Watching the vote count was like watching America's funeral, death due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This is the fruition of decades of brainwashing by liberals in controlling positions of information: the media, academia and primary education.

Enough is...

These suggestions sound like excerpts from a communist propaganda guide or cult manual. Our schools should educate our students, not get them to “help the President.” I do not want my child being taught to help the President, especially because at six years old he cannot determine whether the President is worthy of his support.

While I laud the President’s emphasis on education, I believe his speech should not become part of the curriculum. Secretary Duncan’s suggested activities are unacceptable because they are effectively asking you (school officials) to enlist students as young as five years old in support of a political figure.

As a taxpayer, a voter, and a parent of a first-grader,...
I just e-mailed a letter to my 1st-grader's principal and superintendent urging them not to follow Secretary Duncan's suggestions. I recommend that everyone do the same, reminding them that you vote (assuming your superintendent is elected).

Below is the letter (probably too big to fit):
Dear ___ and ___:

My son is a first grader at ___ and I am writing both of you to ask whether the district plans to implement some recent suggestions from the Department of Education regarding how teachers can take advantage of President Obama’s upcoming video broadcast to students. Specifically, the DOE is suggesting that (among other things), after watching the video of Barack Obama, students: “Write letters to themselves about...

California Crack-Up

The Democratic chair of the State Assembly Budget Committee wrote a piece in today's Sacramento Bee entitled, "Live within our means' is a faulty recipe." I am not kidding. These people don't get it. They live in an alternate universe where money grows on trees.

Here's a brief excerpt:
"As California struggles financially, 'live within our means' is a popular chant in some political circles. This slogan sounds reasonable but in practice is meaningless... Californians expect a lot of services... It is the duty of the governor and the Legislature to make every attempt to meet these expectations."
