I would add the I do not believe that there should be any public option that competes with the the private marketplace. This would be akin to a manufacturer buying its raw materials from a supplier that is also one of its competitors. There is now way that you can compete against someone who can keep adding endless requirements and restrictions to what you offer, knowing that they can go in the back room and print money to cover their operations. The government should offer financial assistance to those who really need it, but not try to make an end run towards a single-payer system.

I thought it started a little slow, but she picked up speed and pulled no punches. KP, I was willing to give BHO the benefit of the doubt during the election about the status of his citizenship. I took it as another conspiracy theory from the extreme right of the conservatives. However, since nothing this man says can be believed (as evidenced by exaggerated numbers in everything from the stimulus to health care, er, I mean health insurance reform), then why doesn't he just come out and show his birth certificate? While he's at it, why not trot out his college transcripts? Why not? Because a)all of the Obots will find out how average he is intelectually and/or b)a lot of his class names will probably end in "Studies".

If they were stupid enough to think he wouldn't treat them like second class citizens once they got him into the White House, then they get what they deserve. They didn't do their due diligence as the people's so-called watchdogs. So, now when they are treated like the lackeys they are, they shouldn't whine about it.
