The problem with the article's title "No Atheists in Foxholes," in my opinion, is not that the article was offensive to some people, the problem is that it isn't true. The chaplain who wrote it reveals his ignorance and prejudice about atheists by repeating that tripe. But offensive? Demanding that it be taken down? The atheists who did that should've known that you can't change people's minds by attempting to silence them. Unfortunately, far too many atheists buy into the left-wing PC strategy of trying to control people's speech, instead of engage them in reasoned debate. I welcome reasoned debate from atheists and non-atheists on these points.
