Everyday I see widespread evidence of "climate change."

I wake up in the morning for work and it's dark. While driving to work, it gets lighter. HOLY COW - CLIMATE CHANGE! It gets warmer as the day progresses. HOLY COW - CLIMATE CHANGE! Clouds move across the sky. HOLY COW - CLIMATE CHANGE!

See a pattern here?

These guys who pursue this stuff are goofballs of the highest order.

Anyway.

Left Angle - I have only one question, then.

Why isn't anything getting done?

To quote YOU: ..We dems control the white house and the u.s. congress with a 60 vote fillibuster proof majority. We call the shots and basically the gop/cons have no power to stop anything we do.

"We" can't do anything to stop you. The problem is re-election, and the Dems know they are treading on this ice with the voters. They are trying to ram through an agenda filled with things that 85% of the people don't want.

So again, I ask why isn't anything getting done?

It's all about posturing and power, money grabs and firming up political might. It has little to do with actually serving the people of the United...

The more I read the various response columns and threads on liberal and conservative sites, the more overwhelmingly apparent it becomes that liberals argue personality and emotion, often lying and using ad hominem attacks, while conservatives argue on facts, figures, and logic. It's like the parents (conservative) trying to reason with a completely out-of-control 5 year-old (liberal) about why they can't get him a pony.

Dad: "But we live in an apartment house, sport. There isn't any room for a pony. Plus, do you know how much a pony costs - not only to buy but to care for? And who is going to actually take care of the pony? Do you know how to take care of a pony?"
