Mormonism's founder Joseph Smith actually ran for President. He probably didn't expect to win, but his platform was interesting. He advocated the sale of public land to buy freedom for all slaves. He also was for reducing pay for members of congress. http://www.blacklds.org/platform
It seems Obama can't resist playing the race card. It's the same thing with the black guy that was arrested for disorderly conduct after police responded to a call that someone was breaking into his house. But it turned out to be him breaking into his own house.

Take a closer look at what Trayvon's girlfriend said. First, she said that Trayvon told her he was "taking cover from the rain". THIS was likely interpreted at suspicious behavior by Zimmerman. NOTHING to do with race or clothing. Second, when Trayvon and Zimmerman talked, she heard Trayvon speak FIRST. This suggests that Trayvon initiated the confrontation.
From the evidence I've seen, Zimmerman should be exonerated. All he has to do is show "probable cause" that he acted in self defense. There is a witness that saw Trayvon Martin on to of Zimmerman beating him. Also, Trayvon's girlfriend says that Trayvon talked first which indicates he initiated the confrontation. There is nothing wrong with following someone that exhibits suspicious behavior. Trayvon told his gf he was "taking cover from the rain" which could easily be interpreted as suspicious behavior. I think Zimmerman has enough evidence in his favor that he should be exonerated. If that happens, though, the reaction will not be good.

What's Different About Trayvon Martin?

Unfortunately, I think the media has an agenda. They will never admit they were irresponsible and biased in their reporting of this incident. They are downplaying the fact that Zimmerman is hispanic. Barack Obama has thrust himself into the midst of a situation that pits blacks against Hispanics. Obama has said that his own son would look like Martin without seeing any recent pictures of Trayvon Martin. If this truth comes out it could doom his re-election bid. The media will continue to do everything they can to protect Obama.

I believe that the right to liberty and choice of the individual trumps all other rights. However, if a woman has squandered that right through her own actions or negligence, then the fetus' right to life should prevail. That's why I believe that abortion in the case of rape should be allowed if the woman comes forward within a reasonable time frame. But abortion in other cases can be regulated by the states.
When Romney was running for governor, being "pro-gay" simply meant not discriminating against gays and lesbians in the workplace. It had nothing whatsoever to do with gay marriage.
MOST of the super Tuesday states are Southern states? I think not. Romney has a clear lead in 6 of the 10: Alaska, Massachusetts, Idaho, North Dakota, Vermont, and in Santorum's and Gingrich's state of residency Virginia. Romney has just erased Santorum's double digit lead in Ohio and will likely win that state also. Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Georgia are the only southern states in the contest.
The Federal money was what the Federal government was spending on healthcare for Massachusetts anyways. Romneycare didn't cost the federal government any extra money. Patrick expanded Romneycare- that's why expenses went up. If it were done as Romney intended, costs would not have gone up.
