RINOs control all the party apparatus & also supported by the republican media (columnists & radio talk show hosts except Lein & Savage). It is about time Tea Party patriots put decent candidates (not like Akin & Murdock ...trial & error at this point) against Boehner, Cantor, McConnell & others. Boehner is the worst RINO of all - he has already said he will do anything for Obama! Compare that to Reid - he said he will not work with Romney even before the elections! Why can't we elect people who have some spine like Reid, Shumer, Pelosi, etc.

It is the same story with the Republicans in the media (columnists & talk show hosts) circling the wagon around Mitt Romney & causing distraction by pointing the fingers everywhere - except at the weak MA moderate we put up! Did Romney go pedal to the metal on Obamacare & make a case on how it will affect the common man? How about the Bengazhi issue? Did he directly question Obama about his spending & paint a picture of how Obama's spending will affect every child in the future (that might have narrowed the gender gap!). Forget all these, did he speak eloquently about conservatism...guess not, because, Romney is NOT a conservative & does not believe in them. It is funny all these experts are looking for excuses everywhere else!
let us not forget what kind of tactics Romney used to defeat Newt! He got a number of RINOs from Newt days to savage Newt...but when it came to Obama, he would not even go after legitimate issues of his economic policies or Benghazi etc. I agree they could have still come out & voted to save the country. However, when you are making an objective analysis, how come no one wants to point out the obivous issue! How many more times that the republican establishment (includes many writers in this forum) are going to push moderates from East Coast down everyone's throat? Millions of conservatives in the southern state have no voice in the primary but without us, there will be never be republican president! I understand thier frustation.

Thank you for pointing out something that is obivous to all of us in the real world! All these pundits here & on radio (especially Rush who did not want to admit his blunder!) are avoiding the truth...Romney is a boring moderate who was pumped up by Ann, Fox News, Rove, Drudge & most of the republicans in media! I have to give kudos to Savage & Levin for standing on principles & not falling in line with this groupthink!

how long are we going to protect Mitt? This is most rediculous collection of articles where people do not want to face the facts! Mitt could not even get republicans to ome to vote...he was worse than McCain! Mitt was a flawed moderate who had no chance to win & could not connect with real conservatives. Please consider all the factors that led to the loss & let us objective otherwise, we are going to repeat the same mistake of nominating another blue state moderate to lose again!
I hoped you will be (unlike Rush) more honest! Is anyone looking at the exit polls - less republicans votes now than for McCain...even though every republican knew that Obama changing the very fabric of US to make it look like a socialistic european country! Let us put the blame on the candidate...we nominated a moderate MA republican ..nowhere close to a conservative! People did not identify with him because he is a country club republican & he lost!

I expected Pat to call it as it is & not worry about the where the chips fall! How come you are not saying that Mitt was a weak candidate. Only person who had the guts to say this was Mike Savage! The biggest issue with Obama was Obamacare & by choosing Romney, Republicans lost the biggest advantage against Obama. How come nobody wants to point that out? Let us face the facts - Romney was a flawed candidate from the beginning who was not & will never be fired up by conservative principles.

Can we get a dose of reality here! I understand that Ann was all in for Mitt & probably is not thinking clearly now. Everyone one of the pundit is giving so many different reasons - but the most basic & obivous reason is that "Mitt was & will always be a boring moderate (a very deent man & great human being) who was never able to fire up the base. He got less republican votes than McCain! He never was able to communicate conservative principles since he was not passionate about them & all we got from Romney is that he is not Obama! Only once, in the first debate, he showed some flashes of brilliance & later went back to his safe, moderate & boring manager! He was never a leader..sorry, good man but not the right man for the job!
