It is always best to get the information from the source. http://mormon.org/ Latter-day Saints are Christian. Being LDS/Mormon is a blessing in my life. We believe "Only by His mercy and grace can anyone be saved. His subsequent resurrection prepared the way for every person to overcome physical death as well. These events are called the Atonement. In short, Jesus Christ saves us from sin and death. For that, he is very literally our Savior and Redeemer. In the future Jesus Christ will return to reign on earth in peace for a thousand years. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and He will be our Lord forever." There are Thirteen basic points of belief to which Mormons ascribe: http://mormon.org/articles-of-faith/ The Constitution is sacred!

Again you assume facts not in evidence. I am not nor have I ever been a member of the LDS Church. I was born raied, and am still a believer in and a member of the Roman Catholic Church, which is hardly a cult.

SFA7392 Wrote: Apr 15, 2012 11:36 PM
Yeah, Jesus Christ was a real false prophet.
Capt-Call Wrote: Apr 15, 2012 11:34 PM
Why should I care what you think , nothing from your posts convinces me that you are anything but a fool following a false prophet
SFA7392 Wrote: Apr 15, 2012 11:29 PM
And there is nothing in your posts, Clap-Carrier that convinces that you are anything other than a prevaricating lib.
Capt-Call Wrote: Apr 15, 2012 11:26 PM
We use the same terms but our beliefs are not comparable the constitution while an important document is far from sacred .Most evangelicals , myself included see joseph smith as a false prophet and mormonism as a cult nothing i have seen or read changes that .

Good look in trying to convince Clap-Carrier and Soon'sIQ's-20 of that. Like all libs they follow the dictum, "Don't confuse me with facts, because my mind already made up."

When the former junior state senator from Chicago, one Barack Obama—a man no one knew diddly about—decided, “Hey, I’m gonna run for president!” people were eager to learn more about this promising upstart. Uncle Joe Biden was curious about Barack. Joe said at first blush that Obama seemed “clean” and “articulate,” which, I think, would be a hate crime if a conservative said that about him.

Anyhoo, Obama impressed many chiefly because he could enthusiastically read vague, cliché-riddled speeches off a teleprompter that included lots of big words like nobody’s business! This ability to read hazy political speeches in...
