In Carson Commencement Flap, the Bullies Win

These people who are unwilling to listen to a man of such incredible substance are going to be Doctors. Do you want this type of close minded, intolerant, people making any decisions regarding your medical care? Just think what they might do if you, as a patient, happen to disagree with their ideology. Perhaps you aren't deserving of life if you don't agree with them. It is time to stand against this.

It's a small, small minded, but very loud mouthed group that is driving this brouhaha. Frankly if I were Carson I would have let the university shoot itself in the foot rather than giving it an easy out. It would learn something that way. But God still backfills via common sense and a lot more future doctors than you'd think are going to be saying to themselves, what a bunch of jerks these homo-marriagenicks were.

No, I would not, patriot.

I am ashamed of my Alma mater, they used to value intelligence and diversity. One of their best being shunned is just wrong.

It is hard to imagine a more inspiring occasion. The graduation ceremony for Johns Hopkins University Medical School was set to welcome the man who has brought it so much attention lately-- Dr. Ben Carson, the Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery whose observations on culture and politics have earned him millions of new fans in recent months.

But those views ruffled the sensibilities of ideological hooligans at Hopkins, who sought to chase him from that occasion.

Sadly, they have succeeded.

Displaying characteristic gallantry and class, Dr. Carson has withdrawn, rather than see the event reduced to a circus.
