Good for the activists! Affirm their right to come out of the closet while putting others in one.

I think James was referring to me, DCM, in a comment in which I retaliated to HIS threat TO COME AFTER ME.

I don't take any such threats, even made in jest, lightly, and will let the threatener know forcefully.

James2517-Sorry, but I truly do NOT believe "the majority of people in this great land of ours do" (accept , that is). "Politely over-looking" MIGHT be true!

"No one on TH has ever challenged those who have threatened to kill me."

I haven't seen any such threats personally. If they were really as you describe, I doubt I would've let them go unchallenged if I saw them. I challenge lots of things written by people here with whom I'd generally agree with on basic principle.

No one on TH has ever challenged those who have threatened to kill me. It is very easy to do that. Just hit the reply button. But THers are afraid to challenge any of "their own". They don't want to be seen as being soft on homosexuality.

"I have had people threaten to kill me for what I have written."

Just be aware that, as wrong as things you've written may be, I doubt most of us would agree much with the people threatening you.

What about the anti-gay remarks posted here? I have had people threaten to kill me for what I have written.
Patriot155 Wrote: Jan 23, 2013 11:03 AM
I didn't specifically accuse you, did I? I'm talking about all of the trolls on this site that make those comments.

Please show me examples of the anti-Christian remarks on this site. I am a Catholic. Do you feel what I have written is in someway anti-Christian?

"People are born gay everyday all over the world."

That may be your version of "reality," but it ain't the real world's. The most you can claim is that people are born who potentially will become "gay." There will also be people born who will become "gay" and then someday stop living that way.

Really? No one's been put in the closet? You know, because of the policies set right now, if my true identity came out and someone at my work connected me with "Patriot155" I could be fired for making what could be conceived as anti-Gay comments. However, I'm sure that no one will come under scrutiny for all of the anti-Christian remarks made on this site.

The president declared it. A pastor prayed it. And woe betide those who differ with this new reality announced at yesterday’s presidential inauguration: Gay is now an official social category as defined and tangible as black or white. Put another way, romantic attraction and sexual desire are now viewed as being as innate and immutable as skin color.

Make no mistake about it. Another significant step was taken yesterday at the inauguration, and what was once associated with the extremist views of radical gay activists is now as American as apple pie. As expressed in the closing prayer of Episcopal...
