Yea, they can. However if people would credit who truly gave us these liberties or rights that we take for granted so often it wouldn't be so easy for people to just surrender them to others. It also wouldn't be so easy for people to come up with an argument as to why they should be the authority to take them away. By removing God from the equation we have opened up a can of worms that I don't think will soon be closed, like we have so many other things in this country.
Shhhhhhhhhhhh......keep that under your hat. Don't give them any ideas.
The Secularists Fatal Flaw When you credit man or the government with with granting you something like "in-alienable" rights you in-advertantly credit them with the right to take them away. So, by denying the Creator or God's existence, we credit the next most powerful thing with the granting of one's rights, Government. Therefore we give them the power to take them away. The same goes with marriage. God created this institution and by not recognizing this, we turned it over to man or government. By doing this, we gave both the authority to redefine it.
And all the scriptures condemning what the LBGT prides themselves after all seem to do the same. Why don't you ask that question, rmccarthy? Why is it, people who support this nonsense seem to remember all of the parables about compassion, love (at least their twisted views of it), merci and grace to the letter but the scriptures that condemn what they do and waive in peoples faces like a badge of honor, seem to fall to the wayside.
2 Timothy 3:16 All "Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction ... All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for ..." If we don't speak up about wrong, regardless of who may do it, how is this scripture even valid or possible?
No the truth is, I feel at peace with God if I do His will. His will was not for me to sit idly by and watch immorality weather it be of any nature without saying something about it.
And one who watches his neighbor stumble or do wrong and not tell him is neither loving nor caring. We are all sinners in the sense that we all do wrong but those that continue to do it while being prideful of it is a whole different deck of cards. Do you see drunks, adulterors, those who practice gossip...etc, parade around and be prideful of it?
For Him to forgive, we must repent and stop doing the trangression that we decided to do. We just can't keep willingly doing wrong and expect God's grace to cover us. He also commanded that we "repent". That means turn from what you do and make no reservations of returning to it. And no it's not a one time thing we all slip and fall at times but we don't willingly do it, continue doing and expect God's forgiveness. The LBGT are not repentant they pride themselves off the fact they are so sinful. Hint: Gay Pride Parades.

Seriously???? God referred to those who don't speak out against trangressions or immorality to be "cowards". And He was right. To not speak up about or answer "yes" to something that you know to be evil or perverted is "cowardice" and a personal "endorsement" by you. If you're going to use God's word as basis for getting me to buy into this "oh, we are persecuting innocent people" your going to have to do way better than that.
And by what standard do you call it normal? Let me guess, if there are enough people who say it is or actually do it, it makes it normal?
