I have the solution to all of this: make EVERYONE CARRY SOME FORM OF ID!!! Simple. Then, whenever the police make a stop or arrest or whatever, require them to check the person's ID. This will solve any cries of "RACIAL PROFILING!!!" It will also make everyone equal under the law, because we will all be required to do the same thing, namely carry ID. See how simple things can be?

Jeffrey, if my understanding is correct, this young woman in NO WAY wants to deny counseling to homosexuals--that is something you have just pulled out of thin air! The issue is that she wants to be up front and frank in her personal beliefs, to allow someone who may want counseling to know what her stance is and how she personally views their behavior. That used to be called integrity, but now it is cause for dismissal??? Is everyone so caught up in being "sensitive" or "politically correct" that no one is allowed to voice their own PERSONAL BELIEFS? I myself know several homosexuals, and I have never refused to talk to them or help them out because of their sexual choices. I do not believe that this young woman would do that...

So you are in favor of allowing a foreign military power to build a victory memorial on the graves of over 3,000 Americas? I am not opposed to the right of Muslims to build mosques and worship how they see fit, but given the victorious and military connectedness of the building of mosques on military victory sites, I would say that this is not just an innocuous mosque that they seek to build, and hence, I oppose it on those grounds.

Mr. Stossel, I agree that the State should keep out of our personal habits, attitudes, activities (except when they harm others), etc. However, your position that the government should not have control over those who serve in ITS armed forces is wrong. The entire point of serving in the military is to give up your individuality and the ability to exercise your own free will; hence, because homosexuality is a CHOICE, and NOT A RIGHT, the government should have the ability to restrict what CHOICES you make, were you to serve in the military.
