DocRoy- I have worked union and non-union jobs. The safer environment by far was at the non-union plant. Union workers (aka liberals) remove personal responsibility from the risk/reward equation. Their attitude is that management is fully responsible for their safety, and they can sue or otherwise punish a business if they are injured. Many don't even try to be safe.
