What's missing from the article are possible solutions to the Social Security Ponzi scheme.
Problem is John Runyan knows very little about the issues people care about in this district. The Republicans made a mistake nominating this light weight.
Guess you don't believe in democracy. My experience has been that most people have common sense -- in fact more common sense then those now holding elected office.

Vote EVERY incumbent out. Guaranteed that will have an impact.

Their has always been anti-Semitism and anti-Israel feelings throughout the world. Today, we are seeing just how far and deep those beliefs go.

Perotistas on the March

You are correct about most items in your article, except one in particular. Ross Perot NEVER dropped out because he never declared for the presidency until September 26th, 1992. I was deeply involved in the Perot political reform movement from 1992 through today, and have written a book [The Perot Legacy: A New Political Path] about what happened to the people in the 90s Perot movement.
You're forgetting the 90s and the Perot political reform grass roots issues and political party movement.
I agree a third party will not solve the problem. United We Stand America (UWSA) formed in 1993 had a major impact but was moved aside when the Reform Party was formed starting in 1995.

We need a strong issues organization like UWSA to lobby, support candidates who support the organization issues, and avoid social issues which split people rather than bring them together.

Glad to see others are beginning to hear the REAL bigoted Buchanan. We knew 10 years ago what Buchanan stood for, and it isn't pretty. Too bad the media continues to give Buchanan a voice.

What Obama Could Learn from Brit Hume

There are many religious choices open to Tiger
Woods. Hume suggested one choice, but Christianity/Jesus is not the only choice. Many religions offer support and forgiveness, as well as the ability to atone and get a second chance.

Not another party

There is more interest in a third party today then there was in 1992. Younger people are frustrated and looking for other choices. A political party that focuses on what the people want is needed.Clearly, the author of this article and others fear a third choice. Term limits will NEVER be voted in by the existing parties so focusing on that issue is a waste of time. More choice is what is needed.
