Stay At Home Moms

Now there's a Facebook page: "Never Worked a Day in My Life," where stay-at-home moms (or anyone, I guess) can post photos and comments about how much work it is to be a stay-at-home mom.

I wonder why the NY Times has never refered to President Obama as a "white black" or "white African-American?"

O’Reilly, Gas Prices and Reality

Last night when he was interviewing Gingrich (Newt eviscerated him), when Gingrich compared the export of wheat and corn to oil (and therefore, why not limit those), O'Reilly actually said wheat and corn are different because people don't need them. I think I see the beginnings of dimentia setting in.

Please re-read the article. Your statements make no sense. Gasoline is manufactured. The primary cost component of gas is oil. No company is going to manufacture something at a loss for very long and stay in business. And economies of scale have already been pretty much maxed out -- refineries are operating fairly close to maximum capacity. A primary reason for this is that few new refineries are being built due to government red tape.

Five Reasons to Oppose Gay Marriage

How about opposing government licensing of marriage (a religious rite) instead! Leave marriage to religion and contractural relationships to individuals.

Never Trust Government Numbers

Yes, and here's a tidbit from a period of time after Greenspan wrote his book: The Obama administration has increased the national debt by $4 trillion in just 3 years -- more than double the rate under Bush and triple the rate under Reagan.
The only problem with your statements is that the Democrats want to spend even more. I hope the Republicans will finally get the message that we are not looking for Democrat-lite. We are looking for bringing the federal government's share of GDP from its current 24% to 10% -- now, not later.
Because corporations fill out the 1120 or the 1120S!
