Hmm, the last time I checked, African-Americans make up something like 12% or so of the population while Hispanic-Americans make up about 15%. I would like to know how many of the Democrat representatives in the house are from each of these constituent minorities. Should or Congress not reflect the rest of the country? If half of the Dem Caucus is minorities, who is representing the majority of voters in that party?

Jesse Jackson Jr. The Congressman has been on medical leave since June and is under federal investigation for misusing campaign funds. As Katie reported earlier today, “He has also been investigated for being caught up in the Rod Blagojevich saga and is suspected of trying to help sell President Obama's former U.S. Senate seat.” According to the Washington Post, “It has been rumored in recent weeks that he would resign as part of a plea deal.”
