I would ask you, how much are you willing to take out of your pocket that you could be spending to feed your children or improve their lives in some way in order to help pay that $32,000 emergency room bill? That is what taxation does. It takes money from you and sends it to the government so they can develop programs like Medicaid. We have poured billions upon billions of dollars into programs to help the poor. How many have moved out of poverty as a result? Why is that medical bill so high in the first place?
