Wealth isn't distributed. It's earned. You want something? Go work for it. When government takes away wealth from the people who earn it (by providing products and services valued by his fellow man) and then gives it to others, the wealth of the nation is diluted.

Dyspepsia and American Atheism

Emerson said it is a "Foolish" consistency that is the hobgoblin of the little mind. Meaning don't keep doing something just because it has always been done. But I agree with your implication that it doesn't make sense for Athiests to be upset over the existence of a cross.
Since 52% of Americans continue to believe Global Warming is real and partially affected by human activity proves Prager's claim that it is a hoax is false, then it must be true that there is a God since over 90% of Americans beileve in a Creator.
The irony is that the most of the children aborted would grow up to be Democrats. And, the legalization of abortion brought the Evangelicals into the political fray that greatly helps Republicans.

He Called Sarah Palin an "Idiot"?

The Leftists hate Palin because she is highly articulate and can quash Liberal ideology with ease. That’s it. There is no other explanation that is rational.
I think you're right. And willingness to work is a trait of those who refuse to be victims.

Natural Isn't Always Better

Passionate debate. When there are such differences in scientific conclusions, and an apparent infinite amount of “yeah, but…” considerations, I go with the side that leaves me with freedom to choose. In this case, it's the pro feedlot group. The pro feedlot group smiles and tells the free range group “dig in” to their organic meals while the pro free range group does whatever it can to force their will on others. It’s the same way with almost any other leftist agenda item. Leftist ideas are inherently unpopular and ultimately become the obligation of the state to force others to accept and/or adhere to the “better way” leftist ideas.

Retired Geek, I don't disagree with your points, but your posts should relate to the column at issue.

Mohammed, I have no problem with your postings but, I'm curious...how many hours a day do you spend writing and posting your comments? Do you think there are any groups that post as an individual?

Right. If the Constitution doesn't mean what it says, then by what authority does the Supreme Court render it's decisions?
