Reagan and Bush did NOT suggest lesson plans for students, following their talks - and their talks were NOT political, but rather generalized along the lines of study hard, etc.
As for Austen Hill and all the other talking heads who keep telling Obama what he needs to do to succeed, if they would just shut up it would not take long for Obama to trip himself up so badly the whole world would see him for what he is - and not just what he says he is!
I lived in Seattle, nice country but the people seem to be mushheads, politically. I am a woman, and I've worked a lot of my life, but I agree with Bob McDonnell when he says that women - and he means women with children, Tyler - should be at home. The old adage says the "hand that rocks the cradle rules the world." Tyler, that means that if we women stayed home and took care of raising our children to be moral, honest and upright citizens who loved God and country, we would once more have good and decent people in public office. My children are grown, they are productive members of society, I even home-schooled my youngest to keep him out of public schools. Further, I was a Navy wife, and I KNOW that women are a distraction, as...
as a Floridian now living in VA, I this this was a brilliant article. It provides the logical next step for the many protestors and town hall meeting attendees, and the first of what I hope will be many chances to put their signs down and use their real power, which is in the voting booth. We don't need "old and experienced" politicians, we need ordinary citizens with strong moral convictions and the courage to state them publicly. The socialist, progressive, leftist folks will always ridicule them, and only the poor deluded "I'm so much smarter than you" group will believe their rantings. Maybe what the protestors need are print media in every major city, complete with advertising, so that all America can chose their side wisely,...

As a 1992 Appalachian State U. (Boone, NC)graduate, I know that diversity, along with sexual promiscuity and active Atheism was regularly preached in almost every class I took. Even though the school attracted very few African-American or any other dark-skinned foreign students (primarily because of Boone's very cold climate), the Univ. managed to bring speakers of color to speak to us at commencement and other times during the year. All in the name of "diversity." I hate bigotry, but I also hate political correctness, as both are indicative of, not just stupidity, but a blind refusal to investigate truth.

I really think Obama likes keeping our troops FAR away from us, as he continues to build up his civilian troops to quell any "disturbances" here at home. We really need to bring our troops home to protect our own borders, and to prepare for any coming attacks. The only real purpose for a military is to kill people and destroy things, if an attack is made on America. Nation-building was never meant to be a part of their duties.

Andy considers the South an educational desert, and the entire South "wierd". Honey, I'll personally do everything I can to help you obtain a transfer back to North Dakota. Isn't that where Jesse Ventura was elected to public office? Before he moved to FL, of course! Is he a prime example of the superior intelligence of your citizens? We Southerners are basically a friendly group, and we really don't care for those who want to whine about how much better things were in whatever State they came from. We don't want to fight you, we just want to help you get back home! And then you can be just the kind of Republican you want to be. Oh, one word of caution....don't spout your superiority in one of the local bars, unless you want to...

I hope your show will include bits of the history of how we got to the place where even the air we breathe is regulated! Please interview scientists who bring the truth about global warming, or the foolishness of the US being the only country in the world trying to go backward in time, with windmills and solar heating. When the wind doesn't blow and the sun doesn't shine, we're helpless! Cap and Trade will finish bankrupting us. Most of Fox Primetime is shouting and arguing - please have only one or two guests per show, and go into some depth on a subject, rather than the frenetic 2 or 3 minute interview, punctuated by the host's personal opinions. We who watch Fox really DO have an attention span of longer than 3 minutes!

Mr. Galen says we who were in Washington need someone to go in front of us to lead - I recommend Sarah Palin - what do you all think?
