Every position in the public sector is a net tax revenue consumer and every position in the private sector is a net tax revenue producer. Example: a 50K job in the private sector at a 20% income tax rate generates 10K net in tax revenue. That same job in the public sector generates the same tax revenue but because the public sector had to pay the entire salary, there is a net tax revenue loss of 40K.

Parents who try to be their children's friend are doing them no favor. Discipline is not something you do to a child, it is something you give them, something you teach them. I was able to give this to my child because it was given to me. Thanks Dad.
