let's start cutting the federal deficit on our own because congress won't. Effective today i am going to 3 days of mail delivery a week. I will not get mail on Friday, Saturday, or Monday. This did not take an act of congress. I just stopped my mail for 3 days. Everyone should do this and there won't be delivery needed on those 3 days. Go to and do it today.

Well intentioned, but a bit foolish. Your mail personnel will still be paid on the clock whether they deliver YOUR mail or not.

Pat: Eliminate junk mail. The post office wants the junk mail to keep their jobs. I can't believe environmentalist haven't complained about junk mail. I practically have a part time job ripping up junk mail.

ELIMINATE JUNK MAIL! And shrink the size of one government agency instantly, the post office.

According to Bob Woodward’s new book,The Price of Politics, the 44th President of the United States was willing to concede to a four-year presidency if the nation got its financial house back in order under his watch. Woodward writes that Obama -- when speaking to Senator Kent Conrad about the ongoing budget crisis -- noted, “I’d be willing to be a one-term president over this,” agreeing with Conrad’s assessment that our country was on an “unsustainable [financial] course.”
