Not true. I know some Catholics who are indeed Christians. But, many, many Catholics have been misled by the Church and think that works will get them into heaven

Umm- no. Some colonies were formed as Catholic colonies (ie Maryland) but most were formed with a non-Catholic, indeed anti-Catholic basis. Penn. founded by Quakers, Georgia...founded as a colony of criminals, and the Puritans were most definitly NOT Catholic.

My open letter to my black Christian friends, written out of respect and solidarity, generated an extremely high number of email responses.
