The idea that the democratic party and that Barrack Obama stands for the poor is absolutely ludicrous. They promote sin and persecution of those who have worked hard and lived right. They promote using the government to act out covetousness and jealousy and a large number of them want to tear America apart at its foundations and change its face forever. Their policies will never help the poor to be healed of poverty. Their policies will only work to keep the poor dependent and down.
Jesus had a great ministry to the poor. What was it? It was preaching the Gospel to them and calling them to turn to God so that all that they were in need of could be added unto them. He preached "Seek ye first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all that you need to live will be added unto you." Love wants to deliver a person not keep them down. Only righteousness can deliver the poor and He knew that better than anyone. He came preaching the Gospel to the poor! The church was directed to remember the poor and take care of the widows. But, if an old widow was not living holy and serving the saints of God they were told not to help her. Also if a man did not serve God faithfully and work hard he was not to be given food.
Jesus loves the poor no doubt. Yet He never insinuated or taught anything that even remotely lines up with government socialism or any other ideology of the democratic party. There is a huge difference in loving the poor and hating the prosperous. I have not seen one add run by the democrats that show the plight of the poor or their involvement in helping them. I have never seen our current president mixing and mingling with the poor or wrapping his arms around them or giving his money to them. Our president does not stand for the poor but rather against the prosperous. His ideology does not center around the poor but rather around bringing the rich down and leveling the playing field. May God give us eyes to see the difference.
