So your saying that we would have won the senate, but not if we lose it will be because of the shutdown? Amazing pre-spin. The fact is the GOP, the republicans and conservatives everywhere where on a path to total failure in 2016. Show me one glimmer of hope that was shining since the election in november? Now there is hope. If we dont win the senate in 2016 it will be because the rinos in the established GOP failed. I see Cruz and Lee's stand as the turning point. The only hope we have of winning in 2016.

The "experts" in the MSM? Support from the GOP money chest would have helped. The shutdown was not as big a factor according to several polls as was feared before the election.
I miss America.

So your saying that the only way any of this is legit is if it can be proved? So are you calling for an investigation? No, your'e saying any investigations will be witch hunts (you said racist, but liberals see everything as racist, so I am throwing that part out). What you are saying is that any criminal put on trial should be convicted without an investigation? Lame attempt at thinking on your part.
The 2nd amendment says: "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed" The constitution and the amendments are a restriction of the federal goverment. There is a lot of rhetoric about clip size, the type of stock and what the president can do with executive orders, etc. But the question is this. Do Gun Control laws reduce violent crimes? If they do, then there are legal legitimate ways to repeal the 2nd amemdment. If not, then they are a bad idea even if the 2nd amendment never existed. The overwelming proof is tthat gun control laws do not reduce violent crime and actually increase it. Gun control is not about guns, it is about control.

Horse manure. You watch too much TV. Liberal "love" comes with strings attached. I think the theme of the next election will be "buyers remorse".

Funny, I have never met a tolerant liberal.
Moron. If the wars cost a trillion $ (which they did not), that would be less than $100 billion a year. A lot of money, but not near the $16 trillion or $1.5 trillion per year we are adding to the debt. The Bush tax cuts are neutral at worse and possibly are responsible for what little growth we have had. If raising the tax rate will generate more revenue, the, using the same logic, grocery stores could just double the price of bread and make twice as much money. Learn economics before you speak. Plus, this year we had the largest amount of revenue in history. The MOST money ever brought in and we still lost $1.5 trillion. We do not have a revenue problem. The rich are paying more than their share. Read something besides left wing tal

Wow, exactly what happened in 2000.
No. The religious organizations were not favored. They were simply included instead of excluded. Prior to that, religious organizations had to lose/hide their faith based principles in order to get funding to help the poor. Which makes sense since they are by far the most efficient way to help the poor. Question is, why do leftist and liberals, who claim to care for the poor, oppose this? Is it because their "care" for the poor is politically based? Yes.
