Hogwash. The tax code has been used by both parties to promote various agendas for decades. Ethanol, despite its noncompetitive costs, has been pushed and supported by both parties as a sop to the environmentalist obsession for bio-fuels - and against fossil fuels. It has been a huge waste of tax payer subsidies, a huge waste of valuable topsoil, and has recently driven up the cost of living, through higher food costs, hurting the poor around the world most. And allowing politicians, on both sides, to sell preferential tax treatment by writing ever more tax exemptions, corrupts both politicians and the demand based free-market system. We need to simplify and quarantine the tax code. Will Obama propose this soon? Let's hope so.

Are you kidding me? Southern racists have been almost completely shut up and shamed by members of their own race. And rightfully so. Those newscasts from Selma and Birmingham with the police beatings and the dogs - they were absolutely seen as "damaging the White race" and the nation changed because of it. But the pendulum always swings, and now it is the former "victims" and their slimy leaders who have taken the roles of separatists and abusers. It is so obvious, only someone caught up in political ideology would fail to see it.
