Suppose Bernanke finds a polite way to flip JORDAN THE BIRD. What is Jordan going to do? Therein lies the problem and folly of Jordan's demand. He may be entitled to an answer but not one he likes. Bernanke has no duty beyond an answer. It is a refreshing gesture but a toothless one nonetheless.
