And then there's this. 2/3 of the base are pretty much funded by the other third. That third, the crony in the capitalist world, being the money, do all the real talking for the party. The obvious discorance between the party walk and talk comes though loud and clear to the general electorate. We were right the first five months. No disrespect to Mr. Romney. I would have been proud to have him as our president. See, the problem isn't what I and you think about him or McCain or Bush for instance. The problem is what the other side thinks. They hear principled, small government. They see big, globalist, imperialist business. Eliminate the discordant messages in the party and win the people.

Soul-searching is not in the GOP’s blood. Many Republicans see themselves as stoic, rugged and hardworking individuals. But after twice losing the White House to an ex-community organizer and failing to mobilize the base, Republicans need to take a trip to a mountainous valley, sip some tea and meditate.

In the quiet of nature, I think Republicans would find that the solutions to winning lie within themselves. After my own reflection, I developed three key insights into how the GOP can win presidential elections going forward:
