It might be time to rebrand or rename the Republican party. The Democrats have been successful at capturing the high ground on social issues thereby casting us, well you, into the pits of hell in the mind of to many uninformed voters. To many think of Republicans as the antisepsis of "Women's Rights" "Abortion" "Immigration" etc etc. When a bar or restaurant gets a bad reputation there is no getting people back inside to see that the problems have be corrected. The only course of action is to rename and start with a blank slate It might be time to change the name to something that reflects the primary goal of being the fiscal responsible party.

Liberals, in the wake of the election, gloat about what they see as liberalism’s return to the mainstream and good riddance to the end of the Republican “extremists.”

And, despite the spin, which never stops in Washington, it is not accidental that four prominent Tea Party congressmen have been purged from key committee posts by Speaker John Boehner.
